96 E320 smog cycle and reading obd code
 

Been getting issues with getting the car smog ready as everytime I take it to the smog shop it always states smog cyle not complete. Most of the time it's only 2 cycles complete. Ive driven the car several hundred miles already. I also cannot get obd reading on the odb port. Seems like it is not communicating. Anybody out there experienced these problems before? Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

Readiness on 1996 cars is all about what the front O2 sensor is doing...is it New?
