Higher wattage bulbs for W126 Euro lights
Hi.
I have a set of Bosch euro-lights for my 89 420SEL and I'd like to use 80/100 watt bulbs for the headlights & 100 watt bulbs for the fogs when I install them. Am I going to need to beef up the wiring and add some relays with the higher wattage bulbs? If anyone has done this on a W126 could you tell me specificaly what needs to be done? Thanks, Clay Last edited by 420; 02-06-2002 at 03:09 PM. |

For 80/100W, I think you can get away with the stock wiring, but it would be best to upgrade the wiring and use additional relays. See:
