95 e320 engine into back of Dodge Caravan

Anyone transported one of these engines? Can I get it into the back of an 08 Grand Caravan or do I need a pick up truck. Or someone can buy my 95 e320

I've hauled all kinds of stuff in the back of my Caravan. It should handle a M104 without any problems.

I was pretty sure I could but the guy selling the engine wasn't sure! Thanks

Ask for dimensions.

How are you going to get it in and out? The hatch makes it awkward to for a forklift to get to the trunk. Side door might not be wide enough unless they can remove a tine.

Once in, how are you going to stabilize it? The weight of the M104 shifting might mess up the seat anchors but they're the logical tie down points. Tires make good holding platforms.

That is an excellent point. I really need a pallate and hand lift. I was thinking I might get an engine hoist to get it in

Truck and chain is looking like a better alternative
