how to replace the regulator brushes?
 
Since i can't get the regulator to fit, how can i take the brushes out of the bosch old regulator and put the new ones in? It seems like it's welded shut with studs that don't unscrew. How can in get them out and put the new ones in?

Buy the correct regulator. You will need it eventually. Buy it at fastlane.
