Sunroof Flex Cable
 

Hi,

I've been looking through the manual, and I can't understand how to adjust the cable. I've had to replace the cabe and motor, when the roof is closed the new cable is around 1/4 of an inch further forward towards the front of the car than it should be. The car is a 1993 W124 Wagon, all the tube ect is fine.

Wild guess - check in EPC that you've got the right part.

Hi, I''ve been looking through the EPC it just seem vague

my manual says to not even mess with it, but mine is an '84

i've replaced all the cassette, and control tube I just can't understand the simple bit getting the cable adjusted. The section on the EPC is 77/140

Yeah I've read this post last week, I'm obviousley missing something simple. I rebuilt and replaced the cassette last year. The motor just wore out, so when I replaced with a new one the adjustment was out and I'm struggling to adjust it correctly so the holes in the cable line up with the two screw holes.

Number 6 on yr replay has given me something else to try at the weekend. !!. Thks
