i got the bosch f8dc4 "oem" labeled plugs.. are these the wrong ones?
does this engine use the h9dc0s like my old m103?

They are correct. F8dc4 is the own plug.

great.. just gotta talk to the dealer for stuff i couldn't find and save this car

Check out XXXX for dealer only type parts. They buy/ship right from Mercedes. They're usually cheap than the dealer. At least in my case.

gabzor, 12 years ago the Parts Department tech at our local MB dealer recommended Bosch F8DC4 spark plugs for our 104 engine. Based on their experience that engine performs best with that spark plug.

sure did check it out, but there are always those damned dealer only parts.. if you want them new of course.. :P

Lol thats where you get the dealer only parts. When you purchase parts from XXXX use the mercedes part numbers. You are actually buying from Mercedes Benz of some place in Illinois. I've bought a bunch of parts from them. Grommets, plastic trim bits that no on else sells. I bought some lift pads (the ones that go under the car at the jack points) and they had to ship them from Mercedes Germany.
