mercedes question

hello the problem is my 1993 mercedes 190 2.6 is lossing power after driving mabe 20 min are so. yesterday on the freeway i notice it lossing power big time. when i exit the freeway it wont go past 60mph i had to floor it just to get it going and then it stall on me but started back up with a few tries. what can this be i was think mabe fuel related but im not sure thank you for the help im just trying to make it day by day.

X2 check fuel filters.

Also clogged fuel tank vent could cause those symptoms.

Easy to check by stopping and opening the filler cap when it happens, see if it has vacuum.

mercedes question

update....... i just notice today that i can drive my car allday at slow speed no problem at all. but the gas pedal still feels like it should be more power. but on the freeway at high speeds theres no power it acts up like it wants to stall.

i'd replace the fuel filters; remote possibility that the catalytic converter is plugged

update yes.. it was the fuel filter i change it and had the catalytic conveter check from a muffler shop its good thank you for the help guys.
