140 s-class moonroof retrofit

I'm going to retrofit glass moonroof into my 92 600SEL. I have all parts listed in the MB Work Instruction 280. I'm wondering if anybody did it before and if there were any problems? From the instruction it looks like strait forward, but I don't have special tools. Is it possible to do without them?
Thanks, Mike
P.S. If anybody interested in getting beautiful 92 600SEL Blackberry metallic sunroof and other parts left from this project, please let me know.

Where did you get your moon roof from?

I have a 93 400 SEL, I like that option, and will it come with a fabric like cover to pull in the winter to keep warm or do you have to deal with glass all the time.

I know I am not much help, sorry. But I appreciate if you respond.

Thanks

This can be done with basic hand tools, WE have done this at least 10 times!

Roy Tucker has been very helpfull and he has good prices.
The price was around $1200 - 1300
Yes it comes with the sliding cover. The complete part list is in the MB Work Instruction #280, available on Alldata.
I'm planning to install this weekend and can give more details on the installation next week.

Uh-oh, be aware of Nodata. They tend to leave out info, have wrong info, and possibly no info at all.
