w210 tail lamp lenses

Hello all, i'd like to change the red and amber tail lamp lenses on my 1997 e300, for the 2000+ red and smoke E55 AMG ones. I like how they look.

Does anyone know if they are a direct swap? I'm guessing yes, since they look exactly the same, except for the color. It would be nice to hear confirmation from someone who has done it though.

Also, does anyone have the p/n's for these? there are four pieces in total. I see plenty of aftermarket ones on ebay, but likely they are china-made junk. i'd rather pay a little more and get them from the dealer.

Thanks!

they are direct swap...but...a little shaving off the rear of the reflector is needed
as the facelift tails have little more bulge in that area and will press against the
metalwork of the trunk recess when you attempt to bolt on. i'm referring to
the tail section which fits in the trunk lid, not the rear of the fender.

Old thread, but just wanted to follow up. The two outer tail light lenses are a direct bolt-on swap from a facelift E55 onto a '98 E300. The two inner ones that go into the trunk lid are not, as @raymond~ mentioned. The inner ones require the lenses to be trimmed (or the trunk lid openings) in order to fit. I instead opted to buy aftermarket retrofit lenses for the inner positions, which were a direct bolt on. The OE outers match surprisingly well with the aftermarket inners and achieved the desired look.
