'86 190E 2.3 16V - Rear suspension...

Dear sirs,
I have an '86 190e 2.3 16v and I want to disable/remove the leaky self leveling rear suspension and install a pair of conventional rear shocks.
I know how to install the new shocks but how do I "unhook" the non-leveling system?
Thanks for your help!

I just did this to my car. Simply remove/unbolt the entire system starting from the front of the car with the reservior and the pump and then move back to the rear of the car to the shocks, springs and accumulators. I initially replaced the rear springs and shocks with the factory MB 190E sportline springs and shocks but I decided to go with the complete Sachs kit. I have these practically new springs and shocks for sale in the swap shop classifieds if your interested or need to buy parts. BTW use caution when disconnecting the rear hoses as they are pressurized.
