need quick help for cooling system on 2.3-16
My car is a 86 2.3-16
The return nozzle on the thermostat housing that usually runs a hose back to the coolant resovior has broken off. I need the car for tommorow if possible, and cannot get the part tonight. Is it alright to run with a makeshift plug? Please respond ASAP, and thank you for your help. Dan Rotigel |

All Mercedes have a return loop to run the air out of the system. I think it might cause a problem with cooling.
The new part has a cast aluminum cover with a threaded nipple made of steel.
