2004 AMG 55 Key Problem
When I remove the key from the ignition I hear a familiar buzz of what I think is the steering lock engaging. The problem is when I open the door the dash will remind me to remove the key when it is already out? Not sure what is wrong here. Has anyone seen this before and what needs to be done to fix?

Most likely the "electric motor" part of the steering lock, dealer.
