WOT fuel hesitation/starvation

When I have my foot to the floor WOT at high rpm shift point, after shifting I can feel the engine choking or hesitating, I don't know how to describe it other than between 3000 and 5500 rpm's the engine is kind of jerky as it oscillates between running great and not so great. You can hear it and feel the lurching forward screaming hard and toned down as it chokes for gas. It feels more like fuel versus a miss. Runs great right up to redline. Where to look first? Puzzling that it does this after hitting and the rpm's drop.

Thanks,
Bdbenz
