I've been working on that issue for years........ Let me know when you find the quick remedy!

Seriously, a fuel cleaner, (techron) , ot redline would do wonders. I have a theory that a leaky injector can cause an issue. I'll let you know if it works.

My m103 also felt like it was stumbling badly at idle when I got it. New plugs, cap, and rotor didn't help. Put new motor mounts in and smooth as silk. (Unfortunatly, at the time I didn't know "uro" means JUNK!) I now need to replace them with good ones.

Have you checked the type and condition of the spark plugs themselves? M103 are pretty sensitive to worn/dirty/improper plugs. Once the valve stem seals on the engine harden/leak, the plugs can quickly foul and cause poor operation of the engine.

Fuel mixture settings can also affect idle, as well as the age of the injectors themselves, and whether or not the idle control valve is clean/functioning properly.
