found little rubber pipe looking thing by battery
While cleaning out the battery compartment I found a black rubber pipe looking thing that looks like it should probably be protecting something. length is approx six inches, it kinda looks like a rubber straw stuffed into a rubber elbow. The elbow is about the size of a short 10mm socket.
What is this? Where does it go? I have the CD's but I would not even begin to know where to look. Any help will be greatly appreciated. donn "If you want to know more about paranoid people, follow them around."

Possibly its the "piss pipe" vent tube for venting hydrogen and acid away from the battery? I honestly couldnt tell ya without seeing it, but alot of international size batteries come with one, so its a possibility it actually got installed.

What is the route for the Bat. vent tube? There is no vent tube on my current battery and it looks like I am getting some acid in the wrong places.
