Windshield replacement options in Atlanta 1999 S320
 

The windshield on my w140 has a giant crack in it and needs to be replaced. I have read horror stories about glass replacment shops and leaks so I wanted to get some suggestions of good shops to go to that do good work at reasonable prices.

Ideally I would like to get an actual MB replacement panel but would consider a decent aftermarket. I have a crack in the windshield of one of my Porsche's as well and have been avoiding replacment because of worries of a shop replacing the panel and breaking trim in the process. I can't bear to look at the crack on the 140 though.

Any suggestions? Mobile and drive to are both options for me. Quality work is much more important than price though.

Ask the dealer who they take the cars to for Glass R+R.

I agree. Ask the Service Department personnel at your local MB dealer who replaces windshields for them.
