ML430 Oil Cooler leak - part numbers superceded?

Can someone advise if the below parts (o-rings) have been superceded? I recently purchased these from MB and installed, after I have significant leak from the lower o-ring seal. Took it apart today to see if the o-ring had shifted which may have caused the problem of leak - no shifting of o-ring, it remains in place.

When I orginally installed these o-rings I noticed that there is not alot of compression avaliable.

Engine 113.942

Part number 112-184-02-61

Part number 112-184-03-61

If there is not an updated or superceded part number, the plans are to use some 736 RTV Dow in the grooves prior to installing the o-rings.

Thanks for anyone's help!
Nikki
