New member needs A/C help - C230
I'm new here, so I hope I post this right.
I recently acquired a 1998 C230...Great Car, except for an intermittent problem with the A/C blower motor or switch. The blower fan works sometimes and not all others. The previous owner said he just whacks an area under the glove box and the fan comes back on. I can't seem to whack the right spot! Yesterday it worked just fine, as well as this morning....this afternoon no blower. Any help would be welcome. Thanks, JL |

As to the C230 A/C problem: The blow work just fine...sometimes. How many components are there to the system? I mean like relays, switches and such. How common are these items a problem on an older car like this and can they be reached and replaced by an average guy.
Thanks in advance for the help. JLMc |
