ticking noise on s500
i have a 94 s500 is making a ticking noise on the driver side sounds like a lifter i had all the lifters replaced on the driver side and the noise still there it comes and goes no matter what the oil
pressure on cold start is fine no noise after a few minutes is back and drive on the hyw and its gone any idea what is causing the lifter to tick oil is new lifter are new it only happends on the driver side. the mechanic who installed the lifters told me the the little black tube looked ok how do check them or the oil flow on the driver side head |

Replace all of the o-rings on the oil supply tubes. I have seen this over and over.

thanks for your fast response can you explain further about the o ring in other word visual inspection of the tubes is not enough?
