380 SLC Fuel System
 

I just finished installing my gas tank after having it re-conditioned along with a new fuel pump,filter and new hoses. Do I need to purge air from the system before trying to start the car and if so, what is the best method?

The system will purge itself.

Have you checked the under hood system for contamination as well?

Thanks, How do I check for under the hood problems. The car was stored for 4 years with the tank drained and the inside of the tank was covered with fine rust. Bob Smits
