Where is my Refrigerant Pressure Sensor?

I have a 1998 C230 and I have a bad code 7 Refrigerant Pressure on the climate control and I'd like to check the sensor. Where is it, and how could I
check it and/or bypass it?

dont think you'd be able to bypass it.. AC wont work or you could fry out your compressor, Generally the pressure sensors on mercedes are on the Dryer but I dont know if they held to that tradition or not.

Sensor

Mine is on the drier (old W126), but this is not something that should be bypassed. It is like a "safety" on a commercial A/C system and is crucial to system operation.

Thanks

Love that picture.

I talked with an AC guy and he said short term bypassing it should be ok. This would be just a test to isolate to the problem.
