Lisle Tools Quad Pad Spreader

I'm about to do a brake job on the 1991 560SEL. My local parts store has this tool, the Lisle Tools Quad Pad Spreader

"The unique design of this brake piston compressor can compress all four pistons simultaneously on four piston calipers. This can also be accomplished with the caliper still mounted on the vehicle in most cases. Makes brake pad replacement quick and easy."

Question: would this tool be beneficial in replacing the brake pads?
