Interpreting Mercedes EPC Question
 

Hey everyone,

I've got a question...

When I look up something in the Mercedes EPC, it gives this breakdown of part replacement and "up until ident Axxxxxx" information.

My question: Is the EPC telling me that I can only use the 003 part numbered unit on cars that are pre-A311369?

Or is it just telling me "ok here's when the change took place, you can still use the 005 in place of the 003."

I looked on Auto Hauz and they sell both 003 and 005.. so I'm leaning towards you must follow the ident break point information..

That's exactly what it is saying.
