Help pulling wipers on 107 SL
I'm buffaloed here. The wipers on this 380SL are showing
climate damage all the way down to the spindle cap. Due respect for the car impels me to pull them and polish and clearcoat the metal, but what I can't figure out is how they release from the spindle. Any clues for the clueless here? s/b |

Lift the spindle cap, remove the nut, rock the wiper arm with considerable force. Maybe a dose of penetrating oil (or brake fluid if you're careful) around the threaded spindle shaft to help the cause. That should do it.
BTW, by spindle, I presume you mean the pivot point of the wiper arm. Sixto 91 300SE 81 300SD |
