Park-Neutral Switch replacement- any tips?

I purchased this part from Phil and will be installing it soon on the e320.

Are there any pitfalls I should watch out for? Should i disconnect the battery? any special tools?

Many thanks.

It's in a tight spot.

Jackstands!
jack the driver's side up, put the jackstands in.
IIRC, I think you'll need a 10mm, or a collection of them,
a slotted screwdriver or two to pry with.
I think there's a rotating retaining ring, be careful not to break it, but the plastic may be brittle and you might break it anyway.
You might have to move the shift linkage,
inspect the bushings while you're under there.
