Price for changing Suspension

I am planning to upgrade the shocks of my '95 E420 and would like to know what is a fair price (in California) for changing shocks (Bilstein Sport), springs (Eibach), spring pads and alignment?

I have been shopping around and the quotes seem a little high.

Thanks for your replies.....:)

Try MR MB Motors in Tarzana. Enrique is very good.

You can also check with globe tire and motorsports in Culver City. They do a lot of work for Beverly Hills Mercedes.

When I had my springs done, I think it cost me around $40-$60 per wheel, but I also had other work done and just lumped it all together.

Installation should probably be around $200 if the mech charges $50 per wheel. Definately shop around.

To do springs and shocks, probably wont cost too much, as once you are going for the springs, well the shocks are right there too. Try the place sI listed and see.

A Good 4 wheel alignment, should be more expensive than a normal alignment. I've had shops charge anything from $30 to $100+ for an alignment. It depends on what they are aligning though.

When I get my new shocks later, I'll probably try to pop them in myself. shouldn't be a hugely difficult task with the MB Service CDROM.

Keep us posted.
