190E 2.6 water pump

I'm trying to change out the pump. I have the PS pump and the idler pulley out of the way. I managed to remove the bottom 2 bolts but can't figure out how to loosen the top 2. Can someone who has done this tell me what tool they used to access these bolts?? I'm at a loss here. Thanks

I remove the front two injectors and use a thin ratchet spanner.

13mm flex-socket and "just the right" combination of extensions.

Like this one, if you can get a thin-wall that would work better, I have also gotten it with a 13mm thinwall socket with a flex adapter:

exactly..... i wrap black electric tape around this socket, so it will flex, but not wobble all over the place when you get it on the bolt

No bolts

my pump doesn't have hex head bolts. It's held with 6mm allen head bolts. Is there a special tool for this??

Use a 6mm allen socket in combination with a universal. How did you remove the lower allen head bolts?

It's out!

I got the bottoms out with a 3/8" drive allen socket and u-joint but couldn't get it on the top bolts. Went down to 1/4" drive to get the top rear bolt and a regular allen wrench to get the top front. I'm not looking forward to putting it back together! Thanks to all who replied.
