Sorry Another SLS Question
Again sorry for adding another post about SLS.
I wanted to know how I should loop it, if I decide to run regular springs and shocks. All the lines in the rear of car are bad. Im sure I will have to loop in the front half of car. Also has anyone tried using springs and shocks from LWB S320 W/O SLS? |
I've run my tandem pump dry with no problems. Since the SLS and the steering pump use different fluids they obviously do not share any chambers. Though i do not know exactly how the tandem pump is constructed, I believe you can simply remove the lines to/from the pump and let it drain and not worry about power steering fluid leaking out.

How long you been running it dry?
Thanks. Jay |
About a month? Enough time so that if it were harmful, damage would've been evident. But it worked right up when I replaced my accumulators and refilled the system. It is after all just an impeller, with the other side lubed with tranny fluid.
