To all,
I just wanted to share with all that since warm weather is coming soon, ( wellin California, that is) it's a good time to change those cooling system related parts. It's cheap insurance.
Today, when the outside temp hit 70F, my car started to overheat very rapidly. The aux fan kicked in, but the engine temp. would not go down. I had to kill the engine a few times before the needle got into the red area.
Turned out that the thermostat was the culprit. It's a cheap fix that when goes unnoticed, will cause a lot of overheating problems. So please, prepare for the unforgiving summer months by replacing any/call cooling parts or have them checked out. The last thing to ruin your day is an overheated motor......................
Cheers,
Vu
