Steps to dissable airbag/srs.
There is no red ten point connector on pax side floor?
Is there a mod or an upgrade to the srs system on the 560sl 1987
Do I have a upgraded version airbag system?
SRS system indications are normal.
How do I proceed to dissable airbag?
Is there another connection that I should dissable?
Battery neg terminal has been disconnected overnight.
Is it ok to proceed with steering wheel removal of airbag?
Where can I get this information?

On that car 10 seconds after battery disconnection the SRS system will be off.

Do you know why there is no 10 point red connector Pax Side floor behind forward floor panel in my 1987 560sl?

Glove box airbag/srs date 3/1997
Would this be an updated airbag/srs with different connectors ?(ie no red plug)

The 10 pin red connector is under the carpet on the passenger side.

The date on the sticker is the expiration date of the air bag.
