200 C280 O2 sensor connector stuck

I am trying to change out the O2 sensor on a 2000 C280. The car is clean with only 105,000 mostly highway miles. The O2 sensors are the usual story- a pain.
But thats not the problem. I can only get one of the old wires pulled out of the
connector. They all wiggle fine and the underside is clean with no leaks.
How hard should I pull ? the 1st one came right out after I removed the metal retaining clips. Should I just grab on to them with some pliers and pull. It seems this should be easy:confused:
Thanks in advance.

So far at 100m, I've changed the 2 drivers side O2 sensors.

Sometimes it does take 3 hands to get the plug out. You need 2 small screwdrivers on either side of the plug, to pry out the holding tabs and you need the 3rd hand to actually yank on the plug. If you look at your new plug, there are only 2 small nubs that hold the plug in so just yanking on it will probably work but not preferable.

Thank you - I thought that was the case, but just wanted to be sure. My third (small ) hand should be home from school soon and I 'll go back under and give it a try.
Again, Thank you.

Yup- Just needed some pliers instead of fingers. Came right out.
I love when you figure out how it all works together, it seems so easy.
Thanks again to this Forum and Peach parts.
I was able to get another job done at home.
