looking at different brands of brake master cylinders - which one to buy?

For the 1991 560SEL. I noticed there are quite a few different brands of brake master cylinders available. I'm about to embark on replacing the rotors, brake lines and rebuilding the calipers and flush and replace the brake fluid. When it comes to brake master cylinders ATE brand is OE, correct? The following alternate brands have come to my attention:

ACDelco 18M391 Professional Durastop Brake Master Cylinder Assembly

Beck Arnley 072-8558 Brake Master Cylinder

Dorman M39704 New Brake Master Cylinder

Wagner MC119347 Premium Master Cylinder

Meyle 0145320005 Brake Master Cylinder

Centric Parts 130.35006 Brake Master Cylinder

Cardone 11-2481 Remanufactured Import Master Cylinder

Cardone Select 13-2481 New Brake Master Cylinder

Does anyone have any experience with these alternate brands and if so would you be willing to share your experiences? Thank you for your input.....

No direct experience, but I've heard bad things about Cardone parts in general.

I have a Metelli MC in mine. It's been in there something like two years and is holding up so far.

Mercedes used different part suppliers, even for the same chassis. I try to keep the system parts the same, so for my car with ATE calipers, I go for the ATE master cylinder and booster; for the one with Girling, I stick with Girling parts.

Why not just rebuild your existing one with a rebuild kit from Mercedes?

Rebuilt ATE is about $150 or so depending on where you get it.

MB has this "MASTER CYLINDER REPAIR KIT"
REPAIR KIT. BRAKE BOOSTER; BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY made by Mercedes Benz. #0014305760

For $280.
