E320 outside mirror- getting double vision...
 

The driver's side mirror on my wife's 1998 e320 is producing blurred, " double vision" images. Otherwise, it adjusts ok.

Questions--

1. Is this fixable or a problem that means I need new parts?

2. If new parts will be needed, can anyone point me in the right direction re what part(s) I will need,where to get them and about how much I'm looking at?

Unless this car has more than 50K miles on it, this would seem to be a warranty repair. Even if you are over a little on mileage, you can probably get some help from dealer. Best to have them do it as you can get into an issue of re-programming the controller for the memory on the mirrors, seats, etc.
