1999 e320 changer over vacuum line
Does anyone know how to change the vacuum line coming off the bottom of the intake going to the changeover valve.i am going nuts it's broken at the base and I can't get my fingers in there and it won't pull out with bent needle nose pliers.Do I have to remove the water pump or intake manifold what is best here..

That vacuum line is molded into the intake.. no replacement part.
Removal of the intake & fabrication of a fitting is required. |
MB doc that's bad news for me.have you ever done this job and I can't believe they would mould that line into the intake why?.Fabrication of a fitting for that hose is there another way around this. Thanks bob

A replacement intake...
Have done several, and fabrication skills are required. |
This thread from BW may help. Let the page load as this is a permalink to a good starting point and there are lots of pictures...and it's a slow site if you're not using adblock. ;)
