DTC LED Flashes 17 Times; Also Home Brew DTC Scanner Questiosn
 

I built the home brew dtc scanner per the directions from Jim Forgione's web page.

It seems to function as the led lights up, however it lights up for all the pins tested. Is it supposed to light up or flash? Also, the button switch doesnt affect the led light at all.

Lastly, the led tester next to computer box flashes 17 times. Does that mean anything to you guys, because I'm completely lost. Thanks.

Code 17 on the car's LED means data exchange issues.

You need more info from the 3 other computers that can cause that issue.
