350 SLC transmission

Does anyone know if the 350 SLC 5 speed will work in a 1983, 123 Model 300 Turbo Diesel? I have a four speed in mine and would like the overdrive fifth speed for the highway.
Ben

The transmission will be longer which will require driveshaft modifications. Otherwise I imagine it will bolt up.
