Fuel Additives

Can anybody recommend a fuel additive to add to a tank of gas to clean the injectors on my 320 coupe M104 engine please?

If you're already using a "Top Tier" fuel, then your gas has lots of detergents in it already. Adding more would be a waste.

If you're using "base gas" then Chevron's Techron is a well respected additive.

Single use carbon cleaners like BBK or Seafoam should be used per the instructions.

I have heard only good stuff about Techron from Chevron.
I use it in all my cars about twice a year. Everybody seems to recommend it; I am sure there are other good ones also, but Techron is definitely #1.

I like BG44. I read somewhere that it contains solvents as opposed to detergents. Solvents are supposed to be more effective. It has worked well for me.

When I change the fuel filter, I fill the new one with atf before installing it. Works for me. -corne-
