Turning piston in caliper

does anyone have a trick or tool to rotate the piston ,while it's installed, in a fixed caliper (like my 300TD has). i installed one last weekend and have noticed it came from the rebuild company with the c shaped part of the piston not rotated exactly like the manual says. will that cause any harm or noise ?
