Active HDLMP Currently Unavailable

I am getting this message "Active HDLMP Currently Unavailable" on my wife's 2005 E320. Searches return zero. Anyone have any idea's?

Telling you that the active headlights are not functioning.

Any other warning lights/messages? Recent dead battery?

Yeah, there was a dead battery about a month or so before this message began appearing. I am sure she did not do the lock-lock. No other messages or problems at all. He!!, I did not even know this car had active headlamps. I know zero about them.
