my 1995 E 300

problems starting, starts up fine sputters then dies, dealership has no clue if you do please help

Question E300 or E320?

How many miles? Need more info!
In thge mean time, I would do a search on your right upper corner of this screen on OVP and wire harness.

Gotta be a D-if the 300 part's correct, anyway. Is fuel flowing thru the filters? Should have a clear plastic pre-filter you can look through....

I would suggest you take it to another dealer. Some more details would be great. Air is probably getting into the fuel lines somehow.

BTW, this is the M606, no visible pre-filter.

The OM 606 diesel engines use plastic fuel lines with "0-rings". For some reason in the US our diesel fuel erodes these rubber o-rings & then the fuel transfer pump can't PULL fuel to the injection pump. Common failure, & that is where I would start.
