sliding sun roof
Hello,
I am new to benzs and to the forum. I need a little advice about the sliding sun roof, it is leaking on the drivers side dripping between the seam that is located between the roof and the windshield pillar . When I got the car I cleaned all the drains the brush seals are in poor condition, but I was told this kind of leak is coming from the windshield. I was thinking brush seals? Is this possibly a multiple seal problem? Thanks for the help |

1994 C280 leaking sun roof
Well, now we have two with the same issue here and maybe we can get lucky and someone will have a reply!
It only leaks during a heavy rain storm, light drizzles are not a problem. I have in the recent past wiped down the tracks and used a light spray lubricant on the tracks for the ease of operations but have not spotted anything obvious to indicate source of leak. It drips over head of the passenger side keeps wife busy as co-pilot wiping down the headliner/roof seam Soooooo, much obliged hope someone has some help. thanks all Leon H |

clear the drains, they have 'em on all 4 corners. if that fails, tape the winshield and drive it in the rain. most sunroof water leaks are either stopped drains or disconnected drains.
