Antifreeze smell in car???? 93 300e 2.8

I am getting an antifreeze smell in the cabin of the car and there is a wet spot to the right of the gas pedal against the wall..93 300E 2.8. Also, my expansion tank seems to be low every few days.Tell me its not the heater core..............wtf....

So, you're saying you want us to lie to you?

That does suck, man. And it's worse because it's winter, so bypassing it isn't a great option.

I just did my heater core. It wasn't really that bad. I took the dash out before I even ordered the core just to see what was what (I typically tend to take apart or open up whatever part I'm working on, except for if I need to change it right then and there, so I can get a feel for the job) It only took about 3 hours total.

Any members willing to take on this task of replacing the heater core for me as I think its above and beyond my expertise as a DIYer. Any members close by here in Connecticut. I really can't afford to take it to a shop. 93 300e
