Well, for mine, which is the UK version, 1992, right hand drive, it's located behind the battery in the left hand side of the car, the one with red cover, and with two fuse attached.
There is a plastic cover to cover everything behind the battery, so get it off, and you could see it. |

The OVP is hidden behind a black piece of plastic, behind the battery.
remove this plastic sheet. The OVP is the one with a fuse (red) on top. jackD |

Hi,
After ruling out distributor, coil, ignition wires and sparkplugs, I would focus on fuel system. My recommendation is to replace the fuel injector temperature sensor. It fixed my 260E. If the fuel computer does not know the temperature of you engine, it resorts to a default value which is good when engine is cold but not good when the car is hot. Good-luck Saumil

So how do you test the fuel injector temperature sensor? Haasman

Hi Haasman,
I think testing this guy would be very difficult, because this is sensing the engine temperature. I just read the documents in the CD and thought this was the perfect candidate for my temperature related problems. I had a tough time to remove it, and infact I broke the sensor's contacts trying to remove them. So there was the clue, the car ran no different with the sensor cables disconnected. The next time I took it to my mechanic, I took the sensor with me and he replaced it for me. The problem of hot start and stalling was immediately gone. Now I never have to depress my pedal to start the car when it is hot. Hope this helps. Saumil
