What would you do? 400E
My power steering is leaking bad. I got some new hose, clamps, gaskets, etc. and went to work on it. I need to remove the return hose BUT I can't get the reservoir off because of the inverted star bolts and I can't get to the other end of it because the exhaust crossover is in the way. I tried to remove the crossover, and I rounded off the nut:eek: and I can't reach the other nut with my extension. STUCK! Been a miserable day. Any help appreciated.

Goodluck!
The m119 stuffed in to the w124 is a PITA to work on.. I suspect there are a lot of 400/420e's out there with leaking PS because of this. |
