Not Benz BUT...
I have understood that a Mercedes Turbo diesel will take 15lbs of manifold boost and do no damage. The question I have is can a VW diesel (old tech) take the same pressures without blowing to peices?
Any comments or educated advice will be appreciated

a 92 jetta TD (what I assume your talking about) should be able to take 15psi with no damage. check out www.tdiclub.com if you REALLY wanna read about vw diesels.

Matt;
Thanks for your reply. Noticed you have a Volvo diesel. Didn't they use a VW 5 cylinder back then?
