random brake squeel? (w203)

my girlfriend had her brakes done 3 months ago, they've been working fine but now they squeel like their going out only during low speeds :/

braking power is still about the same

btw she have an 2007 c230K sports package (late 2006 i guess? her registration says 2007)

anyone have ideas?

i can't really see how much life the brake pad has without the wheel off, or perhaps i don't know what to look for :P

Apply some anti-squeal paste to the back of the brake pads, or go back to the shop that replaced the brake pads and insist that they resolve the squealing issue at their expense.

sorry, not too mechanically inclined.. but i will try..
the 203 uses 2 pads per caliper right? and i just put some anti squeel on the caliper side, not the friction surface correct? what about anti seize?

I never use stock brake pads, only better ceramic pads, never have a noise.

gabzor, all models have 2 brake pads on each wheel ... one brake pad on each side of the rotor. Apply the anti-squeal paste to the back of the brake pad that contacts the caliper piston. Refrain from using anti-seize paste on the brake system components. But first, contact the shop that installed the new brake pads and discuss the brake squeal with them. A reputable shop will guarantee their work and make sure things are right.

Realize that the process of removing the brake pads is easier if you remove the wear sensor(s). It's possible that you can remove/reinstall the wear sensor(s), but more than likely you will damage the existing wear sensors and need to install new ones. So have new wear sensors on hand before you start the job.
