Electrical issue on w124, answer gets free dinner

I have an issue with my 1995 e320 coupe.
Car started and ran fine. Then one day it was as if my battery was dead.
BUt I found out the fuse to the door locks blew out. Well I put one in and it started. BUt it now blows the fuse as soon as I put one in.

I haven't fixed the issue. A correct diagnosis and steps to fix issue gets a free dinner for you and your significant other.

Frozen lock pump, or a short in the wires going from the body of the car to one of the doors through the rubber sleeve in the hinge area. Probably drivers door.

I would inspect the wiring going from the body to the doors for damage. And I would pull the pump (usually under rear seat) and test it outside the car.

Is there any other system on that fuse according to the fuse assignment chart?

Sounds like one day the pump may have run and run and run from a leak or something, failed, froze its motor, and blew the fuse. Probably running the battery down in the process.
