Bilstein Shocks
Hi
I am looking for new shocks for 88 W124 260e, and want the Comfort. However, my freind's partshop has also these V36-0191 (front) B36-1389 (rear) for W124. I search the net and found the following: Front Rear W124 Comfort V36-0185 B36-1518 W124 Heavy Duty V36-0361 B36-1385 W124 Sportline V36-4053 B36-1612 W124 Tropen V36-0191 B36-1389 Have anyone used the specs for W124 Tropen? BTW, what is Tropen? TIA Lim |

Re: Bilstein Shocks
I replaced my shocks recently with Bilstein Heavy Duty on W201.
They are really rough compared to the oem (we have bad roads) I think I may put Eibach springs to compliment them. I just want a modest drop. It feels like the springs are working much harder now. I'm not sure what tropen is. I would ask a Bilstein tech directly about that. I don't have their number, but if you don't find it, let me know and I'll get it for you. |
