electrical problem 1990 300SL
my right side signals are illuminated (not blinking) almost all the time. i was told this was related to the ign. switch but when i replaced it with a known good one it was still doing the same thing. i also loaded the old switch into the parts car and it does not make it do it in that vehicle.....so i';m back at square 1. any thoughts as to the next likely culprit would be appreciated.
thanks gh PS-not to be that guy but it isn't related to the 5 position switch being turned to the left. these are the indicators not the parking lights

ok, so this happens with the battery connected with or without the key, running or not. tried swapping clusters to see if it was in the cluster and no luck. when i remove #9 fuse the long, rectangular relay behind the fuses close to the bulkhead clicks on and off; sounds like the hazards but nothing blinks. hazards work only on left side, right side stays lit solid
