M116 Intake Reseal Parts List
 

Hey everyone,

I'm about to order up some parts to reseal my M116's intake. I just wanted to run my parts list past you guys and make sure I'm not missing anything!

image 3 items 137? and 140? the strap and clamp for the intake boot at the throttle body. good luck, chuck.

Hmm neither of those parts were available when I checked with the dealer. EPC reported one as being NLA. Reuse old I suppose

You can use a big normal clamp for that, thats what I am doing. I just ordered all of this also, last night! Also re-doing everything on an M116.

Good luck getting the old boot to let go of the throttle assembly, I had to cut/snip/drill it apart until about 20% of the rubber was left before it would let go. And that was WITH the strap removed. :eek:

I am also replacing all of my injectors and injector seal pieces while I am in there.

How much did the injectors and injectors seals run you? I think I've got my intake reseal at about $300 in parts.

The injectors can be hard to find under $50 apiece. I managed to get some on ebay for a lot less. The seal components I paid about $27 for all of it.

I redid all of it (including injectors) on my 300E a few years ago and it has run amazingly smooth/trouble free ever since.

Ouch, yeah, it looks like ~$55-57/each! Those can wait LOL.
